Coastal settings and a killer dancefloor – Taleah & Matthew’s Geraldton wedding

Taleah and Matthew's Geraldton wedding

Taleah and Matthew celebrated the first day of the rest of their lives in the best settings and surrounded by the best crowd. Their wedding took place in the Western Australian coastal town of Geraldton where they're both from and continue to live. Matthew being a crayfisher man, there was no other better venue for their lovefest to take place than the life-saving club. Their guests enjoyed a beautiful sunset in perfect WA fashion, an oyster shucker, and T&M's wishing well was nothing else than a craypot!

The location

But the lifesaving club holds an even greater meaning to the couple as the beach it is built on happens to be the one where Matthew got down on one knee. So naturally, we had to quickly sneak a few couples photos there just before sunset.

The outfits

Both Taleah and Matthew's outfits were also a highlight of the day. Taleah wore a stunning non-traditional Karen Willi Holmes dress from their 'elope' collection, whilst Matthew rocked a very summery and elegant beige linen jacket that contrasted with his dark pants.

The dancefloor

Last but not least, the most memorable part of the day would have to be the dancefloor. At certain points during the night, almost all guests hit the dancefloor for a boogie, and oh boy, they had moves! My advice is, if you want your guests to celebrate with you and dance the night away, a cocktail-style reception instead of a sit-down dinner is the way to go!
