The Rêverie Workshop

Cancellation policy and Terms & Conditions

The following Agreement is between Alice Andre ("Alice Andre Photography", "AAP", "Rêverie", "Rêverie Education, "us", "we", "our") and you (“participant”, "attendee", “customer”, “you”, "your").

“Workshop” means The Rêverie Workshop you wish to book as identified on this webpage/document.

Payment and Booking confirmation

Full payment of fees must be received at the time of booking to confirm your booking at your chosen Workshop. Your place is not confirmed until your fee has been received in full.

Payment plans are offered on an individual basis and cannot be guaranteed if all tickets are sold rapidly. If you opt for a payment plan, you understand that the final amount will be slightly higher than the one-off payment in full. You must pay a 30% booking fee in order to secure your spot, and the balance is due two weeks before the Workshop. If you fail to pay your fee in full after this deadline, you understand that your booking fee will be forfeited and your ticket will be released to give someone else a chance to attend the Workshop.

Once we have received payment(s), you will receive a confirmation email with your booking details.

The participant acknowledges that the Workshop fee includes the tuition fee only (unless stated otherwise in the workshop overview, description, highlights, or itinerary).

The participant is solely responsible for covering all additional expenses. This includes but is not limited to airfares, airport transfers, car hire, accommodation, transportation to and from the workshop venue, and any personal items unless specifically listed as part of the workshop content.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation by you: In accordance with the present Agreement, all ticket sales are final, and therefore, tickets are strictly non-refundable. However, in the event that you are no longer able to attend the Workshop, you have the possibility to transfer your ticket to another person who wishes to attend. Resale of the ticket and payment transfers are not managed by us, and as the original ticket holder, it is your responsibility, along with the responsibility of the new ticket holder, to coordinate and complete the payment transfer independently.

Cancellation by us: We reserve the right to cancel the Workshop at any time due to the minimum required number of participants not being met, in case of severe illness of the host, or due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In the unlikely event that the Workshop is cancelled by us, you will be offered a full refund.

Use of Images

You may use the images you create during the Workshop for the following: website portfolio/blog posts/galleries and social media platforms, website banners and sales pages, price and/or client guides, and PDFs under the following condition: proper credit must be given acknowledging that the images were taken at a workshop organised by Rêverie Education and crediting all participating vendors (of which a list will be provided via email prior to the Workshop).

You may not use the images you create during the Workshop for the following: photographic competitions, or submission to any online and/or magasine publication.

Please note that images taken during our Workshop may contain themes and concepts that are the intellectual property of Rêverie Education and/or of our Directors and hired contractors.

You understand that any photographs submitted to us by you may be utilised as a part of promotional material by Rêverie Education and to advertise future workshops hosted by us.

Insurance and Documentation

It is your responsibility to ensure you have all necessary travel documents, visas, permits, and full insurance before the start of the workshop itself.

It is a requirement from us that all participants have their own public liability insurance in order to attend the Workshop. We reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who fails to provide us with proof of coverage, in which case, no refund will be offered. We also strongly advise that you have photography equipment insurance to cover your gear. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage to photographic equipment or personal belongings whilst attending the Workshop.

In addition, if you are traveling from interstate or overseas, we recommend acquiring personal health insurance and travel insurance for added protection and peace of mind.

Reverie Education has a zero-tolerance policy for anti-social behaviour, and any examples of racist, sexist, derogatory, homophobic, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated at any stage during the Workshop. Such behaviour may lead to the suspension or termination of your Workshop participation at our own discretion without reimbursement of any fees which cannot be reasonably recovered by us.

We value your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your data. To confirm your booking and ensure a seamless experience during the Workshop, we require certain personal information as outlined in your booking confirmation email.

All information provided to us will be kept confidential and will never be sold to any other party. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot guarantee that personal information collected by us will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this privacy policy.

By attending our Workshop, you also give your express permission for us to capture behind-the-scene photos and videos and to make use of this content for our own promotional purposes to advertise future Workshops organised by us. This may include (but is not limited to) social media, website and offline marketing platforms. If you do not want to have your images featured or utilised for these purposes, we ask that you notify us via email in writing before the start date of the Workshop.
