Hollie and Marcus’ stylish Flour Factory and Perth inner-city wedding.
Hollie and Marcus sealed the deal last weekend and opted for a stylish Flour Factory wedding in the heart of Perth City.
We’ve all met that one person (or might actually be that person ourselves) who describes themselves as ‘chilled’ and ‘easygoing’ and say they ‘don’t take themselves/life too seriously’, but the reality could not be farther from that description. Well, that’s not Hollie and Marcus. Hollie and Marcus actually are chilled, and easy-going, and all the other cool things we wish we were, and they definitely don’t take life too seriously.
These two high school sweethearts were some of the loveliest humans I have had the pleasure to work with. Their ability to see the light in everything, to get a good laugh out of every situation, and to simply love the crap out of each other was oh so refreshing.
A bit more about their day
Hollie and Marcus said their ‘I do’s’ in the beautiful space that is the first floor of Perth’s inner-city venue, The Flour Factory surrounded by some of their very favorite people. The beautiful light-filled room had never looked better than with the stunning hanging installation by Bohemian Flower Collective. Hollie took everyone’s breath away walking down the aisle in the dreamiest flowy dress by Luv Bridal and a few tears in the corner of her eyes as she made her way to Marcus. The rest of the day was pure freaking joy starting with their personal vows which were a good laugh and a half. Fast forward to the end of the day, where guests were able to get a ~temporary~ tattoo of Hollie and Marcus anywhere on their body (including their bum, yep, that happened) and stuff their faces with hot jam donuts before hitting the D-floor.
Taking photos of them during the wedding portraits part of the day felt like hanging out with two old friends. There was nothing awkward or forced about the way they interacted in front of me. They were just them. Hollie and Marcus, high school sweethearts, constantly hungry, fur parents to one ginormous loveable ridgeback and two cute bunny rabbits, and all-around freaking amazing humans.
Thank you for having me, Marcus and Hollie. May you always go through life with the same love, grace and energy that you carried with you throughout your wedding day.
