I am currently based in beautiful and sunny Perth, Western Australia. But, absolutely, I’ll travel, especially if it’s to capture love! I caught the travel bug from my parents, so I love exploring and discovering new places. Whether you want me to shoot your interstate or overseas wedding, reach out to me as I’d love to be a part of it. Please note that travelling fees apply, so make sure to include your location and dates when you get in touch with me.
Yes! I adore shooting elopements, they are so fun, relaxed, and full of love. That being said, please note that weekend availability is limited during peak wedding season. However, if you are planning on eloping on a weekday or during the ‘off season’ (May to August), definitely reach out to me even as I would love to be a part of it. I consider elopements to have a maximum of 20 guests, and offer ‘A La Carte’ packages starting with two hours minimum. Get it touch to find out more.
Absolutely, I do! Love is love, no matter how you identify or what your sexual orientation. I am over the moon that Australia now recognises same-sex marriages and I would be honored to be a part of yours and capture this incredibly special day for you and your partner. Obviously, I also do couples, family, and portrait sessions for same-sex couples.
Don’t worry, the majority of couples and people I’ve photographed feel that way. The first five minutes might feel a bit awkward, but I have a very natural, relaxed and non-intrusive approach and I won’t make you do any silly, cheesy poses. I work hard to create a space for you to feel comfortable in and let your personality shine through. Your only job is to be yourself, try to relax, and have fun! It is my job to make you feel at ease and document your story, so let me handle that part.
Yes, as per my contract, a vendor meal must be provided for coverage of eight hours and above. I spend all day on my feet and rarely have time to have a proper lunch, so having a meal and a place to sit at the reception means that it’s usually the first break I’m taking all day. You don’t need to sit me with your guests, but if you can, I recommend you arrange that my meals come out at the same time as your guests’. This means that I will not miss out on any formality like speeches, cake cutting or first dance, as they tend to happen when all guests have finished their mains.
Side note: I would love a vegetarian or pescatarian meal, thank you. :)
You will receive your full album at the latest 10 to 12 weeks after your wedding day. I put a lot of time and attention into the culling (selection) and editing process to make sure that I only deliver the best to you. I also deliver a single sneak peek image within 48 hours of your wedding if you wish to share the news on social media. You can also select the sneak peek gallery add-on if you’d prefer to receive a highlight gallery within one week of your wedding day (usually around 100 photos) to help you stay patient.
I don’t deliver a set number of images as every shoot or wedding is different. Couple and portrait session galleries vary between 50 and 120 images, whereas weddings can go anywhere from 200 for elopements, to 600 for a ‘standard’ 8-hour wedding day, or even up to 1,000+ for big weddings that last an entire day (10+ hours) and require a second photographer.
I deliver all galleries (including portrait sessions) via an online gallery system called Pic-Time. You will have the option to hide certain images you don’t want your guests to see, you will be able to easily share the photos with family and friends, and you can even directly order prints from there. For weddings, you will also receive a little parcel with a couple of presents and small-size prints a few weeks after getting your online gallery.
I understand that wedding photography is a big investment, so yes, I do offer payment plans for weddings and elopements. Upon booking, you will be asked to pay a non -refundable booking fee ($500 for elopements and $1,500 for weddings) to secure your date. The remainder is then divided into two payments, with the last one (the balance) due four weeks prior to your wedding day. I can also create customised payment plans upon request.
At this stage, videography isn’t part of the services I offer. However, once you have booked your date with me, I can share with you a list of amazing videographers for your wedding day. The dynamic between photographer and videographer is very important, so by hiring someone from my recommended list, you will ensure that our approach on the day and artistic styles work seamlessly together.
All of my packages are created to ensure I give you the best when it comes to my photography services. Each item adds value to that specific package and the prices are based on the collection as a whole with everything included. Although nothing can be removed, my add-on services & deliverables can be added to the base package, allowing you to personally customize what you need for your wedding.
Most definitely; your photos are meant to be printed! Whether you order fine art prints through your online gallery, or you decide to use a third party, please make your photos come to life by holding them in your hands.
